Features

Features

  • Two 5000 count true RMS digital multimeters.
  • A dual-input TrentPlotTM recorder.
  • Connect-and-ViewTM trigger simplicity for hands-off operation.
  • Industrial Network Bus Health mode.
  • Power Measurements for single phase and balanced 3-phase systems.
  • Harmonics mode, up to 33rd harmonic (24th in 400Hz).
  • High resolution, low impedance measurements.
  • Reading of Hz and Rotations Per Minute (RPM) for use with electrical and combustion engines.
  • Measurement of Vpwm for use on motor drive outputs.
  • ‘Save and recall’ using a user-defined name.
  • Fluke i400s Current Clamp included as a standard.

Power Measurements for single-phase and balanced
three-phase systems:

  • Watts, VA, VAR, PF, and High Resolution, Low Impedance measurements.

The Fluke 125 validates the quality of the electrical signals as soon as any electrical signals are passed along the network. It checks the signal levels and speed, transition times and distortion, and compares these to the appropriate standards to help you find errors like improper cable connections and terminators.

Key Benefits

  • Bus Health mode
Industrial Buses (so called ‘Field Buses’) link the machinery on the factory floor to each other, to sensors, actuators and to a central computer and control system. The Fluke 125 now offers extensive capabilities to test the proper functioning of the network by analyzing the electrical signals on the network (see screen copy).

  • Supported Field bus types are:

  • AS-i bus
  • CAN-bus
  • Interbus
  • ControlNet
  • MOD-Bus
  • Foundation Fieldbus
  • Capacity to define two ‘user defined’ network type.
  • Profibus
  • Ethernet (coax and TP, 10 Mb/s)
  • RS-232
  • RS-485

Note: the Bus Health function is not a protocol analyzer but is a tool to investigate the electrical layer of the communications system, giving ‘good’ or ‘no good’ indicators for individual parameters of the electrical system

Bus Health mode gives a clear "Good", "Weak", "Bad" indication for the electrical signals on industrial buses and networks, such as CAN-bus, Profi-bus, RS-232 and many more.

Fluke 125 Bus Health Screen

  • Harmonics mode, up to 33rd harmonic
(see screen copy). This mode supports a wide range of fundamental mains frequencies including 16.?, 50, 60 and 400 Hz systems!

  • High resolution, low impedance measurements
50.00 W full scale, for use on motor windings and other low resistance wiring.
  • Reading of Hz and Rotations Per Minute (RPM) for use with electrical and combustion engines.
    Input signal can be:

  • 2 rotations per 1 pulse.
  • 1 rotation per 1 pulse.
  • 1 rotation per 2 pulses.
  • 1 rotation per 4 pulses

Use the 125 to check the electrical integrity of popular industrial networks by verifying key signal parameters against industry standards. Measure power over a wide frequency range and display signal harmonics to troubleshoot today's state of the art heavy duty electrical machinery
